Types of Dreams to Record to PlayStation Dreams
Dreams in general are a very interesting subject that isn’t talked about as much as they should be. Usually it seems that people are more prone to discussing and sharing them online than in person. Even animals have dreams! Most people will have 3-7 dreams per night. The major factor here is that people forget 95% of their dreams within 10 minutes of waking up. This is why its a great idea to log your dreams down. Let’s go over the main different types of dreams we’ll be putting in PlayStation Dreams.
Regular Dreams
In the typical lifetime people will spend over six years dreaming. Those are some of life’s most unique experiences you should embrace. Dreams have constantly been being researched within Oneriology. During REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep you are dreaming. The purpose of dreams will have different ideology’s behind them such as electrical signals stored by the brain passing and even for the purpose of learning.
Daydreams
Daydreams are pretty straight forward, you’re not all there. Mentality parts of the brain shut off. Daydreaming is actually fluctuations in the brains neural networks. Your brain is really active during daydreams. This can also help relax you and clear up problems like writers block. However, the longer you are in ‘la la land’ you may forget some of what you are doing in the first place. We all have had this happen to us in school when you zone out so hard the teacher notices and calls you out for it.
Lucid Dreams
A lucid dream is a dream in which you are in control. You can do anything you want. Think of the movie Inception and if you haven’t seen it for some reason, go watch it now! The best way to lucid dream is to maintain a habit of logging your dreams in a journal and doing reoccurring reality checks. When you’re dreaming you’ll preform these checks out of habit and realize your dreaming!
Nightmares
Nightmares are very disturbing dreams displaying unpleasant visuals and emotions resulting in a high probability in waking up. A bad dream in general is just disturbing that doesn’t always push you over the edge to wake you right away. For females nightmares are usually relationship driven and for males it’s usually some kind of disaster statistically speaking of course. While people may record their dreams, we haven’t heard of anyone logging their nightmares. Do you and if so, how does it feel revisiting it in detail?
