- Producer shows overview plan to writers.
- Writers revise producer overview plan for the collab, which the producer will hand to the department leads. Writer lead guides writers to start working on dialogue, instructions, and other in-game text and script planning.
- Producer gives organized summary and/or list to the Art department for concept art
- Artist: Makes concept art based on focus areas the writers and producers have laid out.
- Artist review concept art with Producer and the Writers until everything looks good to move forward with the art direction (the look and layout of the Arcade Hub with examples of key areas). At this point artist can work on actual artwork ideas for the game such a generic artwork like arcade machine decals, color schemes, etc. to know most of what they’ll be making in Dreams when it releases
- Design: Works on the models such as playable character and set pieces in the agreed upon style and layout for references when DreamsPS4 comes out. Character is designed with different shirt/pants/hat made for ticket booth and/or inventory.
- Programmer: Gameplay mechanics and view of 3rd and/or 1st person. VR, PS Move, and DS4 integration.
- Producer reviews progress with Artists and Programmers. Writers join in for review.
- Producer talks with Audio department about global audio and for various areas within the hub.
- Group Collab Team meeting to discus how everyone is doing before the next phase. This can help iron out any kinks unforeseen later on.
- Design/ Producer: Seeks out games and/or has some already stored just hidden for later use.
